Do you ride the Sound Transit 510 (or 512) express bus into Seattle, or the 532 into Bellevue?

If so, and if you catch the bus at Broadway and 38th, you should know that Sound Transit intends to close this stop, effective in less than two weeks on Saturday, September 29th.

I spoke with a Sound Transit representative about this today, who explained that the City of Everett asked them to close the stop due to parking issues on the surrounding streets. Their goal is that by closing this stop they will force riders to use Everett Station.

If you use this stop and are upset about our city requesting that Sound Transit close it, call the city and let them know how you feel. I’ll be calling tomorrow and will update this post with more details as they become available.
