If you’re interested in giving the city Planning Commission input about building heights, there’s a meeting on October 7th regarding a portion of the block between Grand, Pacific, Rucker, and 32nd. Here’s the official notice from the Planning Commission:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, the Planning Commission will continue its discussion concerning the potential for initiation of a Zoning Code amendment for property located in the block identified below:
The request is to change the permitted height in a portion of the C-1H Zone from 35 feet to 65 feet. The Planning Commission meeting begins 6:30 pm, in the William E. Moore Historic City Hall building, 3002 Wetmore Avenue. The Planning Commission held a discussion of this item at their September 16, 2014 meeting and requested additional information. The public is welcome to attend and participate.
