Please take note: November’s neighborhood meeting will be held at the Schack Art Center, located at 2921 Hoyt Avenue.

Bring your appetite and your wallet on Monday, November 11 at 6:45 PM. Have fun and help us raise some dough to fund Port Gardner Neighborhood projects. Our very own auctioneer extraordinaire, Gene O’Neil, will be auctioning off Port Gardner’s sweetest creations just in time for your holiday table. Plus, we’ll have time to socialize and sample treats before and after the event!

We still need donations, so if you’d like to contribute your special dessert, pies, cakes, to impress your neighbors, contact us here.

We’re also making it a a consistent part of our meetings to donate to the food bank. Currently, the food bank needs the following items:

• canned meats (i.e., tuna, chicken and salmon)
• canned and boxed meals (i.e., soup, chili, stew, macaroni and cheese)
• peanut butter
• canned or dried beans and peas (i.e., black, pinto, lentils)
• pasta, rice, cereal
• canned fruits
• fruit juice (canned, plastic or boxed)
• baby food
