April Neighborhood Meeting Recap

We had a great meeting tonight, with about twenty of your neighbors in attendance.
The Snohomish Health District‘s Hasine Wong shared some great tips about public health, including how to tell which household cleaners you should avoid, and how to make effective, safe household cleaners yourself from ingredients like baking soda and vinegar (but not both together, of course).
We also heard from Ryan Sass with the City of Everett Transportation Department, who gave us a heads up about an upcoming project they’re working on to improve three intersections to better handle the current load of freight traffic:
- 41st St. & Rucker Ave.
- Pacific Ave. & Rucker Ave.
- Pacific Ave. & W. Marine View Dr.
We also discussed the upcoming neighborhood executive elections that we’ll be holding at next month’s meeting in May. If you would like to run for one of the open positions, contact current Chair Cheryl Durham at cdurham -at- windermere.com or give her a call at (425) 339-7135, and be sure to come to next month’s meeting!
